Right now Mitt Romney is in a bad state because the further out one gets from Denver, the worse he does — and his vote totals in those outside counties are down from what he pulled in four years ago.
It’s instructive to remember that Colorado is purple but a VERY polarized one — I used to live in Tom Tancredo’s district, to give you an idea.
